Winter is behind us, thankfully, and we have a quite bit of news to share with you. Firstly, with family violence victim survivors missing out on vital services, including legal assistance, we are collaborating with other organisations to advocate for increased resources for our region. We are joining the call for the Victorian Government to provide what's needed so victims have the specialist support they need. We are proud to be part of this collective voice standing up for victim survivors and will keep asking for what's required to fill the gaps. Read more about this effort below
We have recently welcomed a new team member to help with our response to domestic violence in regional parts of our catchment in NSW. Three NEW opportunities are currently available with a NSW focus, so please share these among your networks to help us attract people for these important roles. Our latest newsletter includes:
- Our advocacy to stand up for family violence victims in NE Victoria
- Principal Lawyer Sarah Rodgers returns
- Welcome Trinity, Jess and Sara to the HRCLS team
- Come join the HRCLS team - Aboriginal health service, and NSW Women's Health focus
